BUENOS AIRES, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Estudiantes scored four second-half goals to cruise to a 4-0 home victory over Arsenal Sarandi in Argentina's Primera Division on Monday.
Leonardo Godoy, Fabian Noguera, Manuel Castro and Leandro Diaz struck in the space of 31 minutes as Estudiantes secured their second win from four games.
The club from La Plata, around 50km southeast of Argentine capital Buenos Aires, rose to 10th in the 26-team standings while Arsenal dropped to 20th.
Meanwhile, a Gaston Lodico scored either side of halftime as Aldosivi won 2-1 at Rosario Central. The hosts pulled a goal back in second-half stoppage time through a Gaston Avila header.
In other Argentine top-flight fixtures on Monday, Newell's Old Boys drew 0-0 at Patronato while Atletico Tucuman were held to a goalless home draw by Velez Sarsfield.
